*EPO. The world's major intellectual property offices launch a new website *

The world's five major intellectual property offices, namely the 
European Patent Office (EPO), the Japan Patent Office (JPO), the Korean 
Intellectual Property Office (KIPO), the State Intellectual Property 
Office of the People's Republic of China (SIPO), and the United States 
Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) recently launched a new website.

The “IP5” Web site specifically aims to provide news and information on 
the common projects run by the offices to facilitate cooperation between 
them to avoid duplication of work and deal with the patent application 
backlogs.
