Note: Only the email list services will be affected by this downtime. While GSDI migrates their email list services to a new server, all email lists and the email list websites including archives will be down for intermittent downtime. If you post messages to these lists during the next few days you may receive an undeliverable notice as the hosting IP address is changed and updated. It is recommended that you do not send any mail to the lists until the weekend is over. Beginning Monday everything should function as normal. * Fri 2008-04-04 08:00 EDT - Sun 2008-04-06 19:00 EDT (Fri 2008-04-04 12:00 GMT - Sun 2008-04-06 23:00 EDT) - All GSDI email list services down for maintenance. It can be developed at corporate level, local level, state level, national level (NSDI), regional level and global level. Their characteristics vary with the level at which they are developed and this level includes administrative as well as geographical level due to different needs at different levels. But the SDI?s Hierarchy model presented by Rajabifard (2002) does have certain pitfalls which are discussed in attached file and an effort has been made to propose a new SDI?s Hierarchy model.
