The School has active research and teaching programmes at the Durban and Pietermaritzburg Centres with a strong emphasis in postgraduate training. The Geography discipline requires a full-time permanent member of staff to teach in the area of Geomorphology. In addition, the successful applicant will be expected to establish a research programme and supervise post-graduate students. 
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: 
A Masters degree by research in an appropriate discipline with two years post-masters experience in the field of Geomorphology; 
Evidence of current research activity through peer-reviewed publications. 
ADVANTAGES: 
A PhD in an appropriate discipline; 
Evidence of teaching experience at a tertiary level; 
Evidence of the development of links with local and international institutions and/or organisations.
