  Transboundary Environmental Project Team Advisor, Garissa, Ijara, Lamu in Kenya, Southern Somalia, Kenya, Garissa, Ijara, Lamu in Kenya, Southern Somalia
  Deadline: 29 September 2006
   
  The project started in Sept 2003 and will end in Sept 2007. It is divided in five sectors, each operating in cooperation with the others, namely:
  Biodiversity responsible for data collection, analysis and dissemination at field and central level;
GIS data entering and preparation of thematic maps on the basis of collected data;
Environmental Education responsible for education campaign tailored to specific needs of the communities and linked to other sectors activities and results;
Conservation and Income Generation Activities identification and support to community based income generating activities based on sustainable use of natural resources;
Networking Facilitation of institutional relations, establishment of relevant collaborations and partnerships in the field and at central level on environmental issues.
