Roman Starý, will give a Seminar presentation on the topic:
Centralized GIS data - Workflow considerations

Date: Friday, August 17th 2007
Time: 16:00 PM
Location: CGIS-NUR, DemoCenter, Telecom House, Kacyiru-Kigali

Abstract
If a decision in favour of a centralized GIS data storage is made, it is necessary to establish some clearly defined and controlled workflows, because there are many parties involved within the whole process. This presentation will give some examples of specific workflows, which have to be defined, in order to meet the user requirements - starting with the initial design process and covering some internal daily business tasks concerning the maintenance of such a system with a lot of dependencies.

Everybody is invited. For additional information, contact info at cgisnur.org
