[SDI-Africa] Call for abstracts for ISNET Seminar on Space Technology & Applications for Sustainable Development -Deadline 20 January 2008

Dear Colleagues, 

Inter-Islamic Network on Space Sciences & Technology (ISNET) is a network under the OIC Standing Committee on Scientific & Technological Cooperation (COMSTECH). 

ISNET will be holding its annual seminar on the theme Space Technology & Applications for Sustainable Development from 4 - 6 March 2008 in Dakar, Senegal. The Seminar will have a special focus on sustainable development related issues faced by most African countries. The event will provide a forum for discussions on the role of space technology in providing creative, viable and cost effective solutions to development related problems. 

Scienitsts, researchers and experts from African countries are invited to present their research papers on the given theme. 

All African attendees belonging to relevant disciplines can register for free till 01 March 2008.
