Team Leader, Water and Wetlands Programme for IUCN Eastern Africa, Nairobi, Kenya 
The Team Leader for the Water and Wetlands Component Programme oversees all aspects of the IUCN water and wetlands projects and programmatic activities in Eastern Africa. S/he will take up a portfolio of project activities for which s/he will be responsible for supporting implementation, monitoring performance, and ensuring efficiency, effectiveness and quality outputs. S/he will undertake further development of the Water and Wetlands Programme through the development of additional projects and the mobilization of resources. S/he will contribute to various regional and through the IUCN Global Water Programme, international networks related to the management of water and wetland resources. 
 
The position requires a range of competencies and specialization in subjects ranging from ecology, hydrology, and financial management as well as biodiversity and ecosystem-based resource management strategies and policies.
