Remote Sensing & GIS Training Workshop for Mapping and Characterization of Coral Reef Habitats and Associated Threats, 10-22 September 2007, Zanzibar, Tanzania 
The course is organised by the Institute of Marine Science together with several partners, targeting a maximum number of 14 persons, particularly marine scientists or coastal manages from the following countries: Tanzania, Kenya, Mozambique, Comoros and Seychelles. 
The scientists or coastal managers should either be currently engaged in coral reefs related projects or anticipating to be engaged in coral reef related projects in the near future. This is because, immediately after the training workshop the participants are expected to use the methodology developed in the existing coral reef related projects at their home countries.  
Deadline for applications: 31 July 2007.
