* most on this list are too far away to attend this free seminar, but I'm passing on the information because it is a good example of using free seminars to gather members of the geospatial community now and again.  Every month or couple of months, there could be a free meeting, taking advantage of having international visitors (as CGIS has in this case), or you could put together a seminar series with your own local talent.

This presentation introduces the ESRI System Architecture Design Strategies and outlines major steps and considerations involved.
