The World Health Organization seeks a Data Manager, Nigeria (P-3) for the Regional 
Office for Africa. The Data Manager leads a team of national data managers and clerks 
within WHO-Nigeria in managing immunization programme data at national and zonal 
level; develops, maintains and updates appropriate software for all immunization 
programme data including routine immunization data, supplemental immunization data, 
new vaccine introduction data, immunization safety data as well as EPI target disease 
surveillance data; and supports capacity building activities of national authorities aimed 
at collection of quality immunization programme data, analysis and use of 
immunization programme data and maintaining electronic archives and databases. 
Candidates should have a degree in Information Technology or equivalent training in the 
provision of IT; some years experience in epidemiological data management as well as 
Primary Health Care/ Immunization Programmes software development and use; and 
fluency of English or French with working knowledge of the other. Net annual salary:
