I could not agree more with Kate's observation - as both an SDI /
geospatial information policy expert and editor of an international GIS
trade magazine, which tries to spotlight African GI/SDI activities
whenever possible.
"Data Dissemination" is such a key element of an SDI that any news
relating to African data dissemination activities should also be a key
section in the SDI-Africa Newsletter which is already supported by the
GSDI Association. I have yet to find *any* news source that is as
comprehensive and better informed than is the SDI-Africa newsletter. Why
duplicate?
