Project management is about setting and achieving reasonable and attainable goals. It is the process of planning, organising and overseeing how and when these goals are met. The programme management function of the Global Land Tool Network (GLTN) is a crucial aspect. It serves several functions, some of which include: 
Efficient financial management of GLTN projects as per work programme and log frame. This should incorporate financial management as per rules and regulations of United Nations, monitoring of disbursement levels, donor reporting requirements, etc. 
Activities undertaken following rules and regulations of UN/UN-HABITAT. 
The objective of the consultancy is to successfully implement a project management system to support the efficient management of the GLTN programme.
