Project Officer, Agricultural Modeling and Data Management, Bujumbura, Burundi

Supervise and coordinate a consultancy which will develop an agricultural model and collect data required for the model and integrate the data into the Nile Basin DSS.  Assist in the integration of this agricultural model into the DSS, including, compilation, processing and archiving of DSS related data and information to ensure timely access to and acquisition of regional data and information required for the development and testing of the DSS. Applicants must have at least a Masters degree in Agriculture (agriculture and water resources), or related fields with experience in cropping systems, agricultural modeling, database management and dissemination.
