This course will provide a chance for persons in government and private sector who are interested in the use of GIS for transportation purposes to get together and share experiences, see state-of-art software, and learn more about developments in this field. It is an introductory course with the following main objectives:
- To educate and inform participants regarding GIS technologies and techniques used to capture transport related information as well as to analyse such information
- Improve awareness and knowledge of the latest developments in the GIS and associated digital systems.
- Provide an opportunity for mutual learning and sharing of information
 
The closing date for applications is 26 March 2010.
A 10% early bird discount will be given on the seminar fee for all delegates registering, if payment is received by 5 March 2010.
