Researcher – Hydrology (Internationally Recruited Staff position based in Sri Lanka or Ghana.) 
The researcher will be responsible for the development methods, analysis and understanding of agricultural hydrology and water resources assessment and allocation at the basin scale. Expertise is required in the following specific areas:
- Applications of remote sensing techniques to understand and model hydrological processes, with particular emphasis on 1) the effects of land use change and 2) estimation of actual evapotranspiration over all land use types at the basin and sub-basin scale; 
- The interaction of surface and groundwater hydrology and their implications for water allocation and use in agriculture; and 
- Integrating hydrologic and water allocation modeling with economic assessment.
