  Senior Lecturer/Lecturer in Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
School of Earth Sciences, Victoria University, Wellington, New Zealand 
  The School (http://www.geo.vuw.ac.nz) currently offers GIS courses at second year and a course at third year which are taken by students in Geography, Geology, Biological Sciences and a variety of commerce and humanities subjects. The practical component of these courses is currently delivered using ESRI’s ArcGIS products.
  Applicants should have a PhD in GIS or closely allied discipline, specialist experience in GIS teaching at undergraduate and graduate level together with a demonstrated record of applying GIS to problems in both the physical and social sciences.
  It is highly desirable that applicants can begin teaching the third year GIS course by July 2006.
