[SDI-AsiaPacific] GISCorps Notice - Two volunteer positions open in Afghanistan

GISCorps (www.giscorps.org) received a request for two GIS volunteers from Afghanistan Information Management Services (AIMS) agency. AIMS (www.aims.org.af) is a joint venture between the United Nations Office of Coordination for the Humanitarian Affairs (UNOCHA) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). 
  
Both positions (same description) require expertise in setting up an Interactive Mapping Server application using ArcIMS and ArcSDE in SQL Server environment. A detailed description of the position is attached to this email.
   
  The duration of the mission is between one and two months and AIMS will defray the cost of travel, accommodations, and meals. Both positions are available immediately.
   
  Send your resume and any other additional information to info at urisa.org by July 7th, 2006. GISCorps committee will select the most qualified volunteer from among those who reply.
