NNRMS (ISRO) Sponsored Short Term Course on Remote Sensing and GIS for Teachers of Colleges / Universities offered three times: (1) November 20 - December 2, 2006; (2) February 19 - March 3, 2007; and  (3) March 12 - March 24, 2007.  
 
Organized by ontinuing Education Programme (CEP), Department of Geology & Geophysics, Indian Institute of Technology,  Kharagpur, India 
 
Course is exclusively for teachers of approved Colleges / Institutions / Universities interested in the fields of Remote sensing and GIS. In view of the limited  seats, selection will be made on first come first serve basis

Intending participants from approved Colleges / Institutions / Universities are requested to send the filled- up Registration Form forwarded through proper channel to the Course Coordinator latest by October 31, 2006 (for November 19 - December 2006).  Dates for February and March Courses are tentative; the last dates for submissions for these two Courses are January 15, 2007 and February 20, 2007 respectively.

Selected participants  will be eligible for reimbursement of  sleeper class to and fro railway fare via the shortest route and free lodging and boarding during the duration of the course. Boarding and lodging will be arranged in the Visveswaraya Guest House of the Institute at free of cost for all the selected participants
