Asia GIS is a biannual programme organised by Asia Geographic Information System Association (AGISA, http://www.asiagis.org/ ) for GIS academics and professionals in the Asia Pacific.
This conference is mainly supported by academic societies of GIS of several Asian countries such as Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, China (mainland) and Malaysia.

Although the deadline for abstracts passed on 30 May 2008, the organizers have indicated that they could consider extending the deadline for deserving presentations and papers. So, there still is a bit more time for some to consider submitting an abstract.
