Kuwait Integrated Environment Information Network (KIEIN) 
In cooperation with the Supreme Council for Planning and Development and the Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research, UNDP Kuwait participated in the launch of the third phase of the Kuwait Integrated Environment Information Network (KIEIN) project.  KIEIN was showcased to the public and now is available on the web at http://kiein.kisr.edu.kw/ . KIEIN offers analytical tools, search queries, environmental and socio-economic indicator and metadata.  It is designed to periodically collect and store environmental and socio-economic information measured from inside and outside of the Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research (KISR) on a comprehensive multi-objective geo-environmental database using Geographic Information System (GIS) technology.
