The International Water Management Institute (IWMI) currently is looking for a highly motivated individual to manage and lead the GIS/RS/Data Management Unit. The main purpose for this position is to ensure efficient and effective management of human, financial and technical resources directed towards: assessment of data and information needs; capturing, collating, storing and analyzing data and information; and improving security, quality, access and use of data and information; managing GIS and remote sensing resources across IWMI to provide optimal support for spatial analysis and remote sensing data processing.
The right person, regionally recruited, is an innovator, an inspiring leader, a contributor to the larger Information and Knowledge Group, an accomplished project manager, and an excellent communicator able to represent IWMI internationally.
