The four working sessions include:
1- Asia-Pacific Regional Climate Variability and Monitoring Capacity
2- Hydrometeorological-Related Disaster and Water Resources Management
3- Forest Carbon Tracking
4- Asia-Pacific Biodiversity Observation Network
 
The GEO Secretariat expects this Symposium, which has already attracted more than 200 registered participants, to be a major milestone on the road to the Beijing Ministerial Summit.
