The whereNSW camp will be an informal, ‘barcamp’-style event to enable more
informal and dynamic input into the development of the NSW Location Intelligence
Strategy to complement the more conventional consultative processes.

The state-wide state-wide location intelligence strategy aims to support
efficiently management of spatial information, infrastructure, and services for
the benefit of both NSW Government and the broader community. The NSW Location
Strategy will supersede the Common Spatial Information Initiative (CS2i) Action
Plan, developed in 2006 by the Board of Surveying and Spatial Information.

The Camp, hosted by LPMA NSW, will be a hybrid event, featuring some short
presentations at the beginning of the day to set the context, leading into
unstructured participant-driven sessions and finishing with a summary of
discussions. The venue for the Camp will be the University of NSW CBD Campus in
O'Connell St, Sydney.

whereNSW Camp will be live streamed online to enable remote participation in the
discussions.  This stream will cover the opening segment, lightning
presentations, a selection of the unconference sessions and the closing
segment.  To join as a remote (or on-site!) participant, register at
http://wherensw.eventbrite.com – further details will be available closer to the
day.
