Intergraph Mapping and Geospatial Solutions, in
collaboration with AGILE (Association of Geographic
Information Laboratories for Europe,
http://www.agile-online.org/) is providing the third
consecutive Intergraph research grant opportunity
exclusively for members of the AGILE organization. The
Intergraph research grant will award $5,000 (U.S.)
cash funding and a $50,000 (U.S.) software donation in
an effort to further the implementation and evolution
of GIS.

The grant is open to any member using or intending to
use Intergraph’s GeoMedia, IntelliWhere®, or Z/I
Imaging® technology as the foundation for GIS
research. The grant will be awarded to the AGILE
member who submits the most innovative and exceptional
research proposal. Established to promote innovative
GIS research at the European level, AGILE includes
members based in academic institutions and in other
key geographic information research centers.

Applications will be accepted through April 25, 2005,
and can be emailed to education at intergraph.com. 

AGILE 2005 - The 8th AGILE Conference on GIScience
(http://agile.isegi.unl.pt/2005/) will be held from
May 26th to 28th at the Estoril Congress Center,
Estoril, Lisbon, Portugal.
