The “EU Industry Days” event dedicated to PPP4SDI - Public Private Partnerships
for Spatial Data Infrastructure - is an open event targeted to bridge
stakeholders from policy, technical and industries arenas around the concrete
issues of implementing SDI, such as bottom-up approaches, business models,
role for the private sector, experiences and best practices.
The event will involve EC entities and other SDI stakeholders, as well as
private sector entities, including those not strictly GI oriented, with the aim
to:
- Present status, examples and best practices of SDI implementation
- Present strategies of the private sector
- Set a knowledgeable framework for SDI participated implementation
- Stimulate the role of bottom-up approaches, including local SDI, to converge
into national and European strategies
