ICT Call 2 now open

The ICT theme of the Cooperation Programme announced its second call for proposals on 12 June 2007. This call will support projects in nine research topics, covering five of the seven Challenges which the theme launched with its first call in the Seventh Framework Programme at the beginning of this year. The new call is funded at €477m. The first projects funded from this call will be launched early in 2008.
 
eParticipation Call for Proposals launched

eParticipation is a Preparatory Action to promote the development and use of Information and Communication Technologies in the legislative and decision-making processes, in parliamentary and government environments, aiming at enhancing the participation of citizens and contributing to better legislation. An Information Day for interested proposers will be held on 29 June in Brussels.

The European Commission has published a call for proposals under the 'international cooperation' priority of the 'Capacities' section of the Seventh Framework Programme (FP7). 
The international cooperation calls during 2007 address: 
- bi-regional coordination of science and technology (S&T) cooperation including priority-setting and definition of S&T cooperation policies 
- bilateral coordination for the enhancement and development of S&T Partnerships 
- supporting the coordination of national policies and activities of Member States and Associated States on international S&T cooperation. 
The total budget for this call is €6,391,000. The deadline for submitting proposal documents is 11 September 2007.
