6th International Human Dimensions Workshop (IHDW)
October 12-15, 2008
New Delhi, India
Connected to the 7th Open Meeting - “Social Challenges of Global Change”
 
This workshop will encompass four parallel seminars on the following topics:
The Human Dimensions of Health and Global Environmental Change: Global Change & Urban Health
Transitions to Sustainability through System Innovation
Urban and Regional Carbon Management
Global Environmental Change and Human Security
 
Who should apply?
Researchers, stakeholders, and decision makers working in the field of global environmental change with
an interest in the workshop theme, both from a scientific and a political perspective, are encouraged to
apply. The organizers are interested in professionals who have conducted studies, or developed projects, or have otherwise been involved in an activity that deals with the workshop themes from a local, regional or international perspective. 

The organizers expect to be able to provide limited funding for some participants, with decisions about funding being evaluated on a case-by-case basis in which the academic and professional experience and the relevance of work will be considered. 
 
Deadline for applications is November 30, 2007.
