Post Doctoral Scientist - applying automatic generalisation to generate user-specific output
International Institute for Geo-Information Science and Earth Observation, Enschede, The Netherlands
The topic of research is the automatic and flexible derivation of geo-information products from topographic databases beyond traditional maps. The use case in the postdoc project is generating topographic base maps on which physical plan information is projected at different scales and for different purposes. The postdoc activities are incorporated in a larger research project executed by a consortium of external partners (NMAs, framework data suppliers, software industry and research institutions).
