2007 MARS PAC Annual Conference
The 2007 MARS PAC annual conference - the thirteenth - will be held from 12 to 14 November at the Palacio de Congresos, Madrid.
The first day of the event will be dedicated to showcasing the Spanish use of Geographic Information in various policy areas linked to the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP); the last two days will be focussed on technical and scientific presentations related to the Control with Remote Sensing programme, SDI in IACS, LPIS and parcel measurement.
MARS - Monitoring of Agriculture with Remote Sensing - is an activity of the JRC Institute for the Protection and Security of the Citizen (IPSC) that contributes greatly to a more effective and efficient management of the CAP. 
 
There is no conference fee. For participants from the Western Balkans (Albania, Basnia-Herzegovina, Croatia, The Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia and Kosovo), DG ELARG has agreed to support up to 2 participants per country. If you are interested in this support, please contact your Ministry of Agriculture (which will select the 2 participants).
