ENVision – environmental maps at your fingertips (Ireland)
ENVision, launched September 3, 2007, is an interactive map viewer with an Irish environmental focus.  It allows easier public access to environmental data about their locality, or any region in Ireland that has been gathered by the EPA.
ENVision can be used to find EPA information on, for example:
-  Air quality
-  Water quality such as river water quality, lake water quality and bathing water quality
-  Industrial or waste facilities currently licensed by the EPA.  This section has been designed to link to the range of data about EPA licensed facilities already available on the EPA website.
ENVision is also home to some more technical “specialist” data such as soil and subsoils maps completed by Teagasc and the European Environment Agency and landcover data for Ireland.
