The Master is run jointly by the Universities of Münster, Nova de Lisboa, and Jaume I (Castellón).
This international, 3-semester Master is recognized (and part-funded) by the prestigious ERASMUS MUNDUS programme. As such, 19 international students from around the world (from Canada to Nepal ) have already received full grants to follow the Master during the 2008-2010 period. Some students realize their 3rd-semester project in cooperation with GIS-related companies in Europe .
The regular call for regular non-Erasmus students to join this group now has been launched. These students would be expected to pay the regular EU fees; however, there are many outside grants available to study official Masters.
The first round of the Master is on-going and is proving very successful.
