Project title: Earth Observation and ENVironmental modelling for the mitigation 
of HEAlth risks
Call announcement: EO2HEAVEN is a large-scale integrating project co-funded by 
the European Commission under the 7th Framework Programme, theme 6, Environment 
(including Climate Change)
Grant Agreement number: 244100. 

The project EO2HEAVEN requires the participation of a new project partner 
(additional beneficiary) to carry out certain tasks.

These tasks address the following objectives:
1.To provide advice and guidance on the public health requirements for Earth 
observations in the design of the three project case studies,
2.To contribute to the dissemination and transfer of project results,
3.To support, in close cooperation with the GEO Secretariat, the GEOSS 
HE-09-01/02 Pilot activity within the project,
4.To assess and gather the requirements for environmental information for use in 
public health decision making,
5.To contribute to the methodological study of links between extracted 
environmental parameters and collected health data in close collaboration with 
scenario leaders,
6.To contribute to the final reporting and recommendations for the future 
implementation of integrated health and environmental monitoring systems.
Deadline: The call closes on 23 February 2011 at 17:00 (Brussels local time)
Expected duration of participation in project: May 2011 to January 2013
Total EC funding available for the new beneficiary is up to EURO 150 000
