Republic Geodetic Authority, with support of Norwegian Mapping and cadastre 
Authority Statens Kartverk have started initial activity to establish spatial 
data infrastructure in Serbia in compliance with the European initiatives and 
trends. Support is based on the best practice in Norway on creating and 
development of Digital Norway.

24 June 2011: Digital Terrain Model of the Republic of Serbia published on the 
geoportal 

 
24 June 2011: Round table on topic “Spatial data infrastructure” 
 
16 June 2011: Mid-term Program of Works for NSDI Establishing and Maintenance 
Decree on establishing mid-term program of works for National Spatial Data 
Infrastructure establishing and maintenance for the period from January 1, 2011 
to December 31, 2015 had been promulgated. 

15 June 2011: Technical Meeting of EuroGeographics experts and national mapping 
and cadastral agencies representatives had been held on June 7-10, 2011.

31 May 2011: Workshop about geodata sharing and use policy 
Workshop about geodata sharing and distribution policy with RGA management was 
held on 27 May 2011 under RGA and Statens kartverk project "Geographic 
information for development and EU integration."
