  Capacity Building for Biodiversity and Impact Assessment (CBBIA) Small Grants Program
Small Grants are given to support the development of techniques and capacity for the promotion of biodiversity-inclusive impact assessment. They are intended to support low-budget projects (up to US$10,000) focusing on discrete aspects, or to provide seed funding for bigger initiatives at an early stage in their development and implementation. Grants can be given to enable pilot projects to be undertaken and to support applications for larger grants from other sources. Grants can also be given to support publication of work already carried out, where the results are directly relevant to the work of the CBBIA Project.
  Deadline: 15 February 2006.
