IUCN-NL Ecosystem Grants Programme (EGP)
The Ecosystem Grants Programme (EGP) is part of the ‘Ecosystems and Human Well-being programme’ developed in cooperation with the Dutch IUCN members and Government and in alignment with the IUCN Global Program. EGP funds projects of local organizations in the South that link ecosystem conservation and poverty issues. Only local NGOs and Community-Based Organisations (CBOs) with a proven commitment to ecosystem conservation and the sustainable use of natural resources can submit proposals. Maximum grant size is Euro 85,000 (there is no minimum). The deadline for pre-proposals from Parana-Paraguay Basin [Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Paraguay, Uruguay, but only as far as located within the Paraguay-Parana River Basin] is 1 September 2007.  If you think your project meets the EGP criteria, then download the pre-proposal form, fill it in, and return it by e-mail to proposals at iucn.nl.
