HydroSHEDS tools - GIS tools for for hydrological processing 
HydroSHEDS, which stands for "Hydrological data and maps based on SHuttle Elevation Derivatives at multiple Scales," is based on high-resolution elevation data obtained during a Space Shuttle flight for NASA's Shuttle Radar Topography Mission (SRTM). The World Wildlife Fund produced a set of three extensions for use with ESRI ArcView software (version 3.x). The set of tools enables end users to manipulate, process, and improve HydroSHEDS data with a user-friendly graphical interface. While using the tools, users are urged to use the extensive help function included with the tools to come to a full understanding of their functionality. HydroSHEDS data for Central America, http://hydrosheds.cr.usgs.gov/hydro.php, was completed in March 2007, and South America in May 2006.
