2010 World Programme on Population and Housing Censuses: Sub-regional Workshop on Census Management and Mapping with GIS, 22-26 October 2007, Port-of-Spain, Trinidad and Tobago
The workshop is organized by the division of statistics of the United Nations in conjunction with the Central Statistical Office (CSO) of The Republic of Trinidad and Tobago. The main objective is to highlight the significant additional capabilities of GIS and other geospatial technologies in census mapping activities, including preparation of enumeration, enumeration operations, advanced analysis and dissemination of census data, and how to successfully implement and use these technologies.
