[Sdi-latinamericacaribbean] Pitfalls of SDI Hierarchy

SDIs developments take place at different levels. It can be developed at corporate level, local level, state level, national level (NSDI), regional level and global level. Their characteristics vary with the level at which they are developed and this level includes administrative as well as geographical level due to different needs at different levels. But the SDI’s Hierarchy model presented by Rajabifard (2002) does have certain pitfalls which are discussed in attached file and an effort has been made to propose a new SDI’s Hierarchy model.
