Biodiversity and park management specialist, Barbuda
Chemonics seeks a biodiversity and park management specialist to draft the first development and management plan for the Codrington Lagoon National Park of Barbuda. Responsibilities include: use a participatory approach to develop a five-year strategy and vision to guide park operations and development.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in biology, natural sciences, forestry, fisheries, natural resources management, or other relevant field
Knowledge of wetland ecosystem and biodiversity conservation
Knowledge of the International Union for Conservation of Nature protected area classification system and approaches in parks development
Experience in drafting management plans for protected areas and parks management
Strong oral and written communication skills in English
