Estimados Colegas,
 
Nos complace informarles que daremos inicio a la segunda Serie del Foro
Virtual de Buenas Prácticas sobre "Riesgos y eventos extremos
hidrológicos: Alerta temprana y capacidad de resiliencia ante
inundaciones",  con una primera Sesión de Conversación (Chat) el día
jueves 13 de marzo de 2008, entre la 2:00PM y 5:00PM (hora este de los
EEUU), con el Ing. Isaías Montoya Director General de Recursos Hídricos
del Instituto Nicaragüense de Estudios Territoriales, INETER,  en la
cual se explorará la experiencia del Sistema de Alerta Temprana
Comunitario - Río Escondido en Nicaragua.
 
Le invitamos a visitar la página Web donde se encuentra toda la

también encontrará el calendario de Sesiones de Conversación (Chat) con
otros expertos sobre otros temas.
 
Le recordamos que este Foro de Buenas Prácticas, y la presentación del
caso práctico están abiertos 24 horas los 7 días de la semana, para que
usted pueda participar escribiendo comentarios y sugerencias en el
"Post" correspondiente. De tal manera que si no puede participar en esta
u otras Sesiones de Conversación (Chat), aún puede participar
activamente y efectivamente en el Foro, enviando sus comentarios y
opiniones, y revisando la documentación, presentaciones, y los resúmenes
de las Sesiones de Conversaciones. También, puede enviar sus preguntas o
comentarios a info at rimd.org, antes y después de la Sesión de
Conversación (Chat) para que el Ing. Isaías Montoya pueda responderlas
en el "Post" o en la Sesión de Conversación (Chat).
 
La Sesión de Conversación será solamente escrita y requiere un navegador
de Internet (Internet Explorer, Netscape o Firefox). En caso de tener
alguna consulta no dude en contactarme. Le rogamos tenga a bien extender

Forum on Good Practices on "Risk and hydrological extremes: Early
Warning Capacity and Resilience Floods", the first Conversation Session
(Chat) will be on Thursday 13 March 2008, between 2:00 pm and 5:00 pm
(ET of the USA),in this opportunity the  Eng. Isaiah Montoya General
Director of Water Resources of the Nicaraguan Institute of Territorial
Studies, INETER, will explore the experience of the Early Warning System
Community - Escondido River in Nicaragua.
 
We invite you to visit our website where you can find all the documents
relating to this case in http://www.rimd.org/foro.php. You can also find
the schedule of sessions Conversation (chat) with other experts on other
subjects.
 
We remind you that this Forum on Good Practices and the presentation of
the case study are open 24 hours, 7 days a week, so you can participate
by writing comments and suggestions on the "Post". So if you can not
participate in this or any other Conversation Sessions, you can still
participate actively and effectively in the Forum, sending your comments
and opinions, and revising documents, presentations and summaries of
Conversations Sessions. Also, you can send your questions or comments to
