ERDAS DigitalGlobe 2012 Geospatial Challenge 
The ERDAS IMAGINE- DigitalGlobe Geospatial Challenge Contest (the “Challenge”) is designed to encourage contestants from the ERDAS IMAGINE community to use ERDAS IMAGINE tools and DigitalGlobe 8-band imagery in their study in order to derive more accurate results and in-depth analysis in topics such as Image Visualization, Image Processing, Stereo Compilation and Elevation Modeling, Image Analysis, Feature Extraction, or other related disciplines.
 
DigitalGlobe will provide up to 100km2 of WorldView-2 imagery over the geographic areas of choice of the participant to all qualifying contestants participating in this challenge.  In addition, the three finalists will be sent to present at ASPRS in Sacramento, CA, March 21-23, 2012.
 
The Challenge is open to any participant over the age of 21 who agrees to the Challenge rules. Proposals are due December 20, 2011.
