PhD study opportunities in Canada
Several PhD student positions are available in the Canada Research Chair Laboratory in Advanced Geomatics Image Processing (CRC-AGIP Laboratory), Department of Geodesy and Geomatics Engineering, University of New Brunswick, Fredericton, Canada.
Successful students will join the ongoing research projects in the CRC-AGIP Laboratory. Each student will focus on one (or more) of the following research areas:
image segmentation,
object-oriented classification,
sensor modeling,
target detection,
change detection, and
other areas such as LiDAR and Radar.

Necessary skills include:
Strong background in
Remote Sensing, Photogrammetry, and/or Image processing
Mathematics, and
Programming
Good publication record,
Good English communication skills, and
Strong references.
