[GSDI Technical] Provisional Work Items for 2007 GSDI Technical Working Group

Hi All

I am a bit confused by this email, as I do not remember receiving
Doug's email to which Greg replied, nor can I find it on the archive of
the GSDI Technical WG's mailing list.

For Task 1, I would hope that the WG will work with ISO/TC 211 as well,
and possibly with other organisations. There is a minor grammatical
error in Task 2: it should read "... members of the GSDI Association
(...) are welcome ...".

Otherwise, I think that the proposed tasks look fine.

Regards
Antony

Hi Doug,

These look good to me. One quick question -- when you say that 'members

are welcome to support this activity' in #2 do you mean by contributing

resources, registering services, or both?

If there's enough interest from others to work on the cookbook I can
contribute, and perhaps strong-arm some other CIESIN folks to do the
same. Would there be a target date for releasing the revision (such as

for a workshop at GSDI-10)?

cheers,

Greg
