Thank you for the suggested new topics! I agree that some new topics 
should be addressed, but hopefully without adding too many chapters. The 
SDI Cookbook is designed to be a primarily technical document, so many 
of your topics probably need to be documented elsewhere but shared by 
the GSDI. From your list I would extract the following ones as excellent 
Cookbook contributions as topics within existing chapters:

 > 8- The relationship of SDI and ICT (SDI computing environment)
 > 10- Visualization of SDI fundamental data
 > 11- Web-based SDI

 > 13- Interoperability and SDI
 > 24- Ontological modeling of SDI
 > 26- Networking SDI
 > 27- Computing environment in SDI
 > 35- Geoportals and SDI
 > 43- Artificial intelligence and SDI
 > 44- Spatiotemporal data mining and SDI
 > 50- SDI applications, justifications and vision
 > 51- SDI harmonization issues

Some of your other points are covered in the case studies chapter. These 
could stand to be refreshed.

I welcome a more specific proposal from you to contribute topics and a 
suggestion for their placement in the current outline, or suggestion of 
a redesign of the document to accommodate these subjects. It would be 
ideal to have a new version updated and ready in one year -- to be 
released at the next GSDI conference.
